Rock for Life Summer Concert Series 2017

If I told you that music can heal, would you believe me? Some of the biggest hearts are in the music industry, some of the hardest rocking men and women I know are the most caring. You don’t have to take my word for any of this, you can see it for yourself in the events the Rock For Life Concert Series puts together each year to help one recipient suffering from a life-threatening illness. Music does heal and there is no better way to celebrate the lives of these wonderful individuals chosen for the proceeds this amazing benefit. Imagine a Woodstock type of situation, large crowds at the Iselin Ballfield, children’s laughter, old friends joining together, and making new friends along the way. Concessions, coolers full of favorites, wonderful memories for all in attendance and a chance for the musicians on stage to help in the best way they know how. If this sounds like a good time to you, check out https://rockforlifeconcert.com to get more information.

The first event is Gigaroo, held July 7 & 8, featuring bands like Homicide Black, East End, Zone 8, After The Fall, Silk9, The Hellfire Club and so many other artists. Go for the day, the evening or attend both days with camping overnight if you want to be sure not to miss a minute. Camping is encouraged if you intend to consume adult beverages, it’s just safer that way, but you can camp out just for the adventure of it all, too. It’s a great time for every age and past events have proven there is love and fun shared by all. It’s also a great way to see your favorite musicians taking it all in right along with you! Visit again August 4 & 5 for even more fun and so many bands even the fliers can’t list them all! The summer is going to be hot and so are these shows! As the warmest weather fades and the night’s take on a touch of fall Rock For Life brings you Rocktoberfest for yet another two-day event October 6 & 7 to finish out the series.

Rock For Life brings hope to the recipients in ways that their family simply can’t. Being sick is expensive for these families in ways many people don’t understand. Even with insurance, there are co-pays, travel expenses, and a lot of out of pocket details that just aren’t covered. This benefit concert series helps our local community and every two-day concert is packed with area talent! Last year’s recipient, Dylan Reese Jageman, is a beautiful little boy with a great smile who suffers from Cystic Fibrosis. This disorder causes lung and digestive damage and this brave little guy had emergency surgery at only 2 days old and has to take several medications a day as well as regular trips to the hospital. The 2017 recipient hasn’t been announced yet but you can keep up with the events and find out the announcement by liking and following their Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/rockforlifeconcert/ .
