The American Hilljack Ranch is the owner & proprietor’s affectionate nickname for the Iselin Community Park located in Young Township, Indiana County in the suburban Village of Iselin neighboring Saltsburg Pennsylvania. With a rich history of being the Ballfield and place to hold activities for the Iselin Community Church for decades. The park itself was reinvented in the early 2000’s and has seen numerous owners who has made efforts to make improvements to the park.
In 2019 current owner & proprietor John Alfred Lane III purchased Iselin Community Park. With a slow start through the United States Covid Pandemic. John has and is constantly working to improve everything at the Iselin Community Park to help to develop exactly what it it says in the name, “Community”. Working closely with the Iselin Community Church and always willing to work with other Iselin Community Members, Businesses and Organizations. John and his team want to improve relations between the entire Iselin Community. They are dedicated to developing the venue and all it facilities to help growth for Iselin Community Park to serve better for the Park itself and each member of the Community in the area of Iselin.
The Iselin Community Park is available for rent of the outdoor facilities for various events, such as flea markets, corporate picnics, weddings and theater groups. Income from rentals helps defer the expenses associated with maintaining the property.
From Indiana, PA and surrounding areas – Take Rt 286 west until you come to the CLARKSBURG VALLEY INN. Turn RIGHT onto Iselin Road (Rt. 3021). The park will be on the right.
From Monroeville, PA and surrounding areas Take Rt 286 East. Turn LEFT onto Iselin Road (Rt. 3021) and follow through town. The ball field will be on the right. From Pittsburgh, PA and surrounding areas – Take Rt 376 East. 376 East merges with Rt. 22 East. Take Rt 22 East for about 1/4 mile to Rt 286 E (Golden Mile Highway) turn right at Cooper’s Trailer Sales (on left) to stay on Rt 286. Turn LEFT onto Iselin Road (Rt. 3021) and follow through town. The ball field will be on the right.
Camping & Grounds
While camping is available for certain events held on site at Iselin Community Park . You must bring your own tent or rv. Electrical hookups are not available. There is no alcohol sold on site. The events when advertised is B.Y.O.B only. You must be 21 if you are drinking. No Glass Bottles, please! If you plan on drinking, please plan on camping or bring a designated driver! There are food, beverage, and other vendors available on site. There are garbage cans located throughout the grounds, please use them! Iselin, PA From Apollo, PA and surrounding areas – Take Rt. 56 past Apollo Ridge High School. Pass The Kool Kone Ice cream place.Turn RIGHT right before DoBros Country Kitchen (After a little water wheel thing in the grass on right). Make the next RIGHT onto Iselin Rd.
